adequate but with shortcomings

noisy fan cold air
The bathroom felt quite dated. It really needs an update. the extractor fan ran constantly, NOISY. i also noticed cold air blowing from the ceiling vents. this created a draft in the bathroom when the door was shut.

Excellent value stay

laundry facilities clean room comfortable bed
The hotel has guest laundry facilities on level 2 and level 6. This was very convenient. Rooms are clean. The bed was super comfy, i slept well. The staff were helpful.
The shower barrier is just a miserable curtain. The hand wash basin is too small. I cannot put personal items on it. It isn't up to citadines quality standards.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel provides free laundry facilities until 9 pm and laundry powder is included. I found this helpful. There is access to a 24-hour gym a few minutes' walk away across two streets, and it is well-equipped.
Dining
8/10
There is no cafe on site. I found it a bit inconvenient. the kitchenette was small but fine.
Location
10/10
I found the hotel location good for the city. Elizabeth quay station is a few minutes' walk. The hay street shopping area is also close.

excessive noise missing utensils
the hotel is situated centrally, this proved acceptable for my business engagements.
My room, a premier studio, suffered from excessive noise. i could discern conversations and movements from adjacent rooms. This greatly disturbed my rest. the kitchenette lacked essential utensils, this hampered my ability to prepare meals efficiently.
